Dear Students and Faculty,
Our school has decided to make it easier for everyone and end personal computers. We will have school computers held in the library, which will be put in at the end of the school year. Your computers will be taken away by the end of April for this occasion. You will now be ALWAYS writing on paper for the rest of your middle school life. There will be restricted hours of computer access, and you will need to trade Nee-Dohs if you want to take another student’s time. This limited access will be granted only after you do all your schoolwork. Remember, even then, the library computers are for learning purposes only. There will be no more of “your” computers. You will turn them in, like I said, at the end of April. Teachers, you may keep your computers, but it has to be one of your “home” computers. (Computers that aren’t going to be provided by the school). I’m sorry students, but if we find any computers that aren’t library computers in your hands, you’ll get an automatic detention or worse. There will be absolutely NO GAMES provided on the library computers!!!! We found that one of the main problems with computers is students playing video games when not allowed to. So, thanks students, for showing us that we shouldn’t have computers!!!
Anyways, here are the rules for getting computers after this:
-Only library computers are allowed
-If we find a computer other than the library’s computers, you’ll get a detention or worse
-NO GAMES will be played on the library computers
-Only academic apps will be applied to the libraries’ computers
-And ABSOLUTELY NO GETTING EXTRA TIME!!! (Unless you trade a Nee-Doh with another student for their computer time)
When you have your computer time, it will be during school. You will have to do the work you miss for homework, no matter what. And no, you may not skip your time. Be lucky you even get technology. Sorry, students and teachers, for the inconvenience, but you deserve this. (At least, the students do). Well, our announcement is complete. Say goodbye to your computers! Haha LOSERS! I get to keep mine 🙂 I mean, BYE!
-THE BEST, MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THE SCHOOL!!!!

I have always said, “Games do not belong in schools.” Mario Kart at lunch? NEVER! Gimkit review sessions? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I’m glad we’re taking the next step and getting rid of computers altogether. I’m pushing for a paper ban next. I’m hoping we switch to clay tablets in the near future.

Oh no! How we will read the Wred Feather if there are no computers? So sad 🙂
