Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium:

Located in Omaha, Nebraska, the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium features the world’s largest indoor desert and a massive tropical rain forest. The indoor desert dome is a spectacular exhibit containing three distinct desert ecosystems: the Namib Desert of southern Africa, the Red Center of Australia, and the Sonoran Desert. This desert dome spans two floors, each 42,000 square feet, and is home to a collection of reptiles, amphibians, and, of course, snakes!
Right next door, the tropical rainforest holds plants, crashing waterfalls, and lush greenery. Here, visitors can literally walk alongside monkeys, tapirs, macaws, and hippos! A bit of adventure with a whole lot of fun!

Rio De Janeiro Zoo:
The Rio de Janeiro Zoo in Brazil is famous for how it pampers its residents during the hot summer months. To keep animals cool, zookeepers give them popsicle treats tailored to each species diet- ranging from frozen fruit popsicles to savory blood-sicles for the carnivores! The zookeepers prioritize thermal comfort to ensure every animal feels its best. that they want their animals to be under the best thermal comfort. How nice!
This zoo is also a sanctuary for the endangered Golden Lion Tamarins. Truly AMAZING!
Loro Parque Animal Adventure Park:
Can I get a mic check? This zoo features some serious land AND sea showstoppers! The Loro Parque Animal Adventure Park in the Canaries houses over 40,000 animals across 400 species.

There are many unforgettable experiences, one being the Aquaviva Jellyfish exhibit. This immersive experience showcases the elegant jellyfish in a stunning display of fluorescent colors. Visitors will also find five different species of penguins and a stunning coral show. Perhaps most impressive of all, the Loro Parque Zoo has saved 18 species from the brink of extinction. WOW!
Are you amazed yet? I certainly am! These zoos each offer something truly amazing, proving that there are many magnificent zoos around the world to discover.
