Treble Ensemble Spreads Holiday Cheer at Winter Pops
On Friday, December 12th, the halls of Wredling were filled with holiday music during our annual Winter Pops. Treble Ensemble, an honors choir group at our school, performed along with other musical groups to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
“Winter Pops is a festive concert for the holidays,” stated Amaya, one of the members of the group. This year, Treble Ensemble sang some classic songs. “One of the songs we will perform is Let It Snow,” said Amaya. “We will be singing a medley of Silent Night and All Through the Night,” added Diya, also a member of the group.
The group does more than just Winter Pops. Amaya is looking forward to the Treble Festival again this year. “Everyone is so kind, and it’s so fun meeting other people who share the same interests as you,” she said. Diya is excited for the Six Flags competition at the end of the school year. “We will get to sing and win awards. It sounds really fun, and it seems like a great way to socialize more and work together since we will be presented and sing as a group.”

When asked to describe Treble Ensemble in one word, Amaya said, “enjoyable” because “we do so many fun activities and being surrounded by kind, funny people is enjoyable.” Diya picked “engaging” because “we do all sorts of activities and there’s always something for everybody. During the holidays, we get to do gift exchanges, and we get dessert. I think Mrs. Bach really tries hard to make it fun for everyone, and it is!”
