Student Spotlight: Gimkit Coded Game

Hi, I’m Steven!
I competed in the 2024 and 2025 VEX IQ Championships and received 4th place in 2025. I made this game for students to enjoy. Here’s how to play!

Controls

• Move: W, A, S, D

• Aim Weapon: Mouse

• Press Buttons: Enter

How to Play

Choosing Roles:

• Want to be the Seeker? Go in the red box.

• Otherwise, wait—someone else will be the Seeker.

Hiders:

• Hide in a prop before the timer ends.

• When the timer ends, answer the question in the bottom-left corner.

Seekers:

• Wait for the timer, check the map, and shoot at props where you think hiders are.

• Out of ammo? Click the ammo button in the top-right corner.

• Don’t forget to answer your question!

Starting the Game:

1. Click the Wanted Kit.

2. Click Start Game.

3. Wait for players to enter the code.

4. Press Start Game again to begin!
