There are a lot of great Fall movies, some thriller, some comedy, some just plain boring. But out of the two most popular ones are: The Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus (1993) which one is the best?
Hocus Pocus:
According to Wikipedia, the movie had a budget of $28 million and grossed 50.1 million in sales.
After moving to Salem, MA, Max finds an abandoned hut with his sister and their new friend. After a story, Max accidentally frees three evil witches who used to live in the house. With the help of a talking cat, the kids must take the witches’ book of spells to stop them from being immortal.
Nightmare Before Christmas:
The movie had a budget of $24 million, as stated by Wikipedia and grossed 100.1 million in sales. (almost double what Hocus Pocus made!)
When Jack accidentally stumbles on Christmastown, all bright colors and warm spirits, he gets a new idea of life — he plans to bring Christmas under his control by kidnapping Santa Claus and taking over the role.
