As the 2025-26 school year starts, Wredling Middle School welcomes the era of Mrs. Favero as our amazing principal. Last year, she became a familiar and friendly face in the hallways, especially after being selected as the future leader of Wredling. Today, she shares insights into her work as principal, her priorities for students and a few fun facts about her life outside of school.
Mrs. Favero shared that the students and staff at Wredling are her favorite part of being principal. She loves that her role gives her flexibility to spend time with kids and support their success. “I want to help students keep their test scores up, have a higher sense of pride, and be proud of the fact that they belong at Wredling.” She explained, “I definitely want them to feel like they have a stake in the game, like they own part of Wredling and that they helped it to be the awesome place that it is.”
Mrs. Favero shared some fun pieces of her life outside of school. Her favorite color is blue, and she loves to laugh and joke. She doesn’t have any pets… “unless you count my children!” She has kids. Chewing with your mouth open is her biggest pet peeve. She loves to cook and try new foods! Her favorites? Mrs. Favero revealed that it’s steak and crab legs!
When she is not working, you might find her camping, reading, spending time with her husband and kids (who play sports she enjoys watching), being outside, even doing math- “just for fun!” she says. Principal Favero shared that her favorite class when she was in middle school was science!
